As part of the Agile Introduction Series, a new article What is Scrum is available.

I won’t describe it the Scrum framework better than the Scrum guide can. The artefacts, roles and events are crucial to a healthy agile practice if you select Scrum as your methodology. I’ll discuss those at some point. Today though I’d like to discuss the core aspects, pillars and values.

As a certified Scrum Master knowing how to run a standup is useful but not as useful as understanding why. You know why a standup is held daily, right?

Read more about the scrum guide at scrum.org, and go directly to my starter page on what is Scrum to read through my views on these pillars and values.

Improve your agile practices, embed the values and principles. Visit the Agile Introduction Series pages and sign up to the mailing list to keep up to date with new articles, or visit the contact and about pages to learn more.
